-Randy Moss
Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
adrian peterson.

I need to know why
and the person has to stay in the team for a very long time. Such as AP, people say he might switch to another team when hes a free agent, like Randy moss did.

Oh and i also need to know
Do the pats have more chances in winning the superbowl or the colts.

thx

Should I drop Pierre Garcon (Colts) or Johnny Knox (Bears). Also what free agent should I pick up. Maroney (NE), Derrick Ward (Bucs), Jerome Harrison (Cle), Lendale White (Titans), Fargas (Raiders), or Michael Bush (Raiders)

Is it possible (who/where would I get it done) or even legal to re-stamp an AR15. I'm trying to build a retro AR and going to buy myself a Colt SP1 which looks alot like the original M16 but it just wouldn't feel complete without the "Property of US Govt" Stamp or M16 designation.

Also are there any legal troubles like maybe if an ATF agent sees it, he could seize it thinking that it's stolen?

do we need a Qb that is a free agent? or draft one and who should we draft from the 2010 NFL draft sam bradford or colt mccoy or jake locker?

Not in a deep league. How do i look?

I'm not sure whether to keep three backs in (Gore injured), or three wideouts either Marshall or pick a free agent wideout like Burleson or Sims-Walker? Anything else i can do to improve team?

I have made my decision to drop Donnie Avery from my fantasy team after his brutal performance thus far this season. You can't fault just him, I mean the Rams are brutal as a unit but he was supposed to be one of their lone bright spots coming into the season. Instead though, it's been the play of Laurent Robinson that was shined through this season catching all of St. Louis' touchdowns... ONE!! Avery has fumbled the ball twice in two games and I don't think he has much more to offer so I looked at three guys who I should perform much better.

First of all is a guy I talked a bit about, Laurent Robinson. He's had 87 and 54 yards receiving respectively in the first two games of the season with of course one touchdown catch. He looks to have good fantasy upside, the only problem being his quarterback is Marc Bulger...

The next person I have on my list (this is in no order by the way) is Pierre Garcon of the Colts. Peyton Manning, with or without Tony Dungy and Marvin Harrison, is always gonna put up huge numbers in the air. I mean look what he did to Miami last week (I had Miami in that game, I was so crushed) without having the ball for a full quarter. Also, with Anthony Gonzalez hurt, it gives Garcon and Austin Collie for that matter, a chance to shine in the spotlight. The questions here are who will win the battle between Collie and Garcon (I pick Garcon personally) and what will happen to the two when/if Gonzalez comes back?

The last person I looked at and liked was Johnny Knox of the Bears who has become a fantasy darling these past weeks and with a depleted Wide Recieving core, the Bears need someone to step up. Jay Cutler is a very decent QB and someone who the Bears really like obviously. Knox has been the best by a clear margin of the WRs Chicago has and should keep the wheels spinning throughout the season.

Those are my choices, can't say who I'm leaning toward more at this time. Please note I already added Mario Manningham to my lineup so he is unavailable in the free agent pool. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Dark Match:

* Colt Cabana b. Puma after hitting some type of shoulder buster. Cabana put Puma up for what looked like a butterfly suplex but put him on his right shoulder and dropped down. Cabana also came out to entrance music.

TNA Impact (Airing 10/1 on Spike TV):

* Impact opens with an Abyss promo. He says he is not medically cleared to work tonight but he needs answers. He calls out Mick Foley and says he owes him answers. Mick Foley comes out with three TNA security guys. Foley questions why he would owe Abyss anything. He says does he owe Chris the 24 plus years of blood, sweat and tears? He asks does he owe him for paving the way for guys like Abyss? Does he owe him for the flannel shirt? Foley answers, no, he doesn't owe him anything. Abyss says he just wanted to save Foley. He says the picture was an accident because he went to get the barbwire bat to help Foley and knocked the picture off the wall. Foley asks if he gave Chris permission to go into his office. He asks if he gave him permission to get his back. Foley looks back and says he didn't need Abyss before. He questions if he needed him when he was flying off the Hell in a Cell. He questions if he needed him in Japan when losing flesh. He questions if he needed him when he lost his ear in Germany. Abyss says Foley is... no... was his hero. Abyss says he got into this business because of Foley. He says he got through the beatings from his dad by thinking of Foley. Abyss asks how did Foley repay him? He removes the bandage and shows the cut on his forehead. Foley says he got hurt too and was in the hospital too. Foley extends a peace offering of a new Tweak and Tweet connection. He says it's not the original, it's a cheap ripoff, an imitation, just like Abyss. Foley says Chris isn't in the same league as him. Foley says he's like the photo, a cheap imitation and a ripoff. He smashes the photo on Abyss and leaves. Abyss goes after Foley but the TNA security guys try to stop him. Abyss beats them all up while Foley gets away to end the segment.

* Amazing Red b. Sheik Abdul Bashir, Kiyoshi, Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed in a Ladder Match to win a TNA X Division Championship shot next week.

* TNA Legends Champion Kevin Nash b. Dr. Stevie w/Daffney in a non-title match after hitting the Jackknife Powerbomb.

* Christy Hemme b. Traci Brooks in a Battle of the Playboy Models after a sunset flip out of the corner. Traci attacked Hemme after the match and laid her out.

* Tara joins Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary for Awesome Kong w/Raisha Saeed vs. ODB for the TNA Knockout Women's Championship. Saeed shoved Tara so Tara goes after Saeed. This distracted Kong, who grabbed Tara, but it allowed ODB to schoolgirl Kong for the win. ODB is mad that Tara interfered and bumps her. She shoves her back and they exchange blows. Kong comes back in and cleans house by giving them both Implant Busters.

* Hernandez vs. Kurt Angle ends on a double count out. World Elite comes out and attacks someone and it turns into a pull apart between the Main Event Mafia and World Elite backstage.

* The Beautiful People come out for a promo. Velvet Sky says that due to contractual reasons, Angelina Love is no longer in The Beautiful People. Sky and Madison Rayne want to come clean and say they're not proud of their actions in the past year. They say it was largely due to Angelina. Madison said Angelina turned them into monsters and made them do things they didn't want too. Now that she's gone they want to show their true colors and apologize for every heinous act they did. They want to start fresh with a clean slate. They call out Sarita and Taylor Wilde so they can apologize in person and wish them luck in their match at Bound For Glory. Sarita and Wilde come out as Velvet and Madison apologize and ask for forgiveness. They shake hands then The Beautiful People attack them. Taylor and Sarita get the upper hand but Lacey Von Erich makes the save. She beats up Taylor and puts the Claw on Sarita. She poses with The Beautiful People to end the segment.

* Eric Young vs. Matt Morgan was being taped when Kurt Angle hit the ring dressed as a fan. He hit Morgan with a chair. The Main Event Mafia come out and attack Young. World Elite come out and it's a full on brawl. Every security guard comes out to break it up. The brawl is stopped then restarted. Agents Terry Taylor, Simon Diamond and Scott D'Amore come out to help. The brawl keeps stopping and restarting. Angle was dressed as a fan that had been in the crowd dressed as Abyss. At some point they switched out.

* Beer Money, Inc. join Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary and drink some beer with Taz. Team 3D & Lashley b. The British Invasion w/Rob Terry & Rhino after Lashley got the Dragon Sleeper on Doug Williams. Team 3D and Beer Money drink beer afterwards. Samoa Joe comes out and chokes Lashley out.

* Daniels b. Jethro Holliday with the Best Moonsault Ever. I don't know for sure but I wo

this is a team that has had only 3 head coaches all super bowl champs, doesn't go after free agents to get talent, has a record six super bowl titles and still no respect?ha,you know had the pats or colts made that drive in the super bowl you would never hear the end of it,but what does the steelers get oh they cheated,oh if would have faced this team they wouldn't have won, what?what in the world does big ben have to do to get some respect, like I said before had brady or manning made that drive people would still be talking about how great they are but what does ben get,oh he's not elite.the man lead his team to a superbowl win behind a horrible o-line but he's not eliet, yes he had the number one defense but it was him and the offence that got the win.now people are saying the steelers have no chance to repeat just because brady is back, give me a break! If the steelers win people say they cheated if they lose people say they suck,ha it's amazing.
SLOPPYJOE the cards got to the superbowl ok,that means they were the best in the nfc,if they were not someone would have beaten them.

How do you guys like this forecast??
P.S im from ICELAND so sorry if my spelling is bad.

I'm a huge colts fan as some probably know all ready, and they never sign free agents from other teams in the off season Polian usually goes through the draft. But I think they should try it at least once sometime? Who knows maybe it will turn out good.

I think they should try out Larry Foote...hes only 29 and hes not that bad of a linebacker i think and he has good size for the colts also.

Your Thoughts?...

Keep in mind that I'm not asking these because I'm seriously looking into becoming a jockey, but because I need a bit of information for a little story writing :)

1. Does a jockey absolutely -have- to have an agent to get jobs, or is it just beneficial?

2. Who typically choses the jockeys for mounts? The owner or the trainer?

2a. Does the owner typically tag along with the trainer at morning work outs?

3. Can an owner also be a trainer of their horse?

4. I know being a female jockey can be a bit rough; is the trading of sexual favors still for mounts still common or is it just leaning moreso on the sexism nowadays?

5. I know there are racing styles such as 'closer' 'mudder' 'stalker' 'front runner'. Are there any others?

5a. Is closer pronounced like... you're 'closing the door' or 'you're too close to me'?

6. Why are fillies typically ran separately from colts? Or aren't they?

I think that's all the questions I have... If I have any more I'll be sure to edit.

This is the second par of my mock draft.

Aaron Maybin

DE/LB

Penn State

Aaron Maybin
Maybin is an athletic, rotational pass rusher who could fit in perfectly with defensive ends Mario Williams and Antonio Smith in Houston. That would be a formidable rushing trio that could result in more forced turnovers and the opportunity for the Texans' offense to rack up points.

16.

Chargers

Rey Maualuga

LB

USC

Rey Maualuga
The Chargers could be very tempted to take Georgia RB Knowshon Moreno. Maualuga provides a defensive tone-setter, which, combined with a healthy Shawne Merriman, could give San Diego a menacing persona and the potential to be very aggressive in run and pass situations.

17.

Jets

Josh Freeman

QB

Kansas State

Josh Freeman
Freeman is a project player who would have to be groomed, which is why the Jets could trade out of the spot or surprise with RB Chris "Beanie" Wells or WR Percy Harvin.

18.

Broncos

James Laurinaitis

LB

Ohio State

Robert Ayers
If the Broncos could stack the middle with Raji and Laurinaitis, many of their defensive concerns could be laid to rest. This pick could be used as a bargaining chip to move higher in the draft and nab a quarterback prospect.

19.

Buccaneers

Peria Jerry

DT

Mississippi

Peria Jerry
Jerry is exactly what the Bucs need to fortify the middle. They need to have a one- or two-gap defensive tackle who can be stout on run downs and be effective in a rotation in passing situations. The Bucs play in a run-heavy division, and if they remain vulnerable from guard-to-guard, they could be in trouble.

20.

Lions

Robert Ayers

DE

Tennessee

James Laurinaitis
The Lions need to beef up the defensive line and add a player who can get after the quarterback. Ayers is physically impressive and is gifted enough to let a defensive guru like new coach Jim Schwartz find ways to make him stand out.

21.

Eagles

Michael Oher

OT

Mississippi

Michael Oher
The Eagles might have used this pick to trade up in the draft and acquire a different OT or as trade bait to land Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, Bengals WR Chad Ocho Cinco or Browns WR Braylon Edwards. Should Oher fall this far, the Eagles can't pass and will roll the dice that Moreno is around when they pick again at No. 28.

22.

Vikings

Percy Harvin

WR

Florida

Percy Harvin
A multi-dimensional player like Harvin could help ease some of the limitations of QBs Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels. Harvin is a blazing speedster who must be accounted for, leaving one less defender to try to stop Vikings RB Adrian Peterson.

23.

Patriots

Clay Matthews

LB

USC

Clay Matthews
Matthews is rising and could be the perfect type for the Patriots' defense: hard worker, coachable and tough. Wake Forest CB Alphonso Smith also might be an option here if the Patriots' potential pursuit of Panthers DE Julius Peppers or Redskins DE Jason Taylor materializes.

24.

Falcons

Vontae Davis

CB

Illinois

Vontae Davis
The Falcons would be beside themselves if Davis fell this far, which is a possibility. Atlanta would like an outside linebacker, but the free-agent signing of Mike Peterson and potential emergence of Stephen Nicholas could lead to the selection of a cornerback, which is a pressing area of need.

25.

Dolphins

Kenny Britt

WR

Rutgers

Kenny Britt
Britt's solid 40 time at his pro day helped this productive wideout move into the first round. Bill Parcells likes big, tall players, and Britt meets the measurable. The Dolphins have to add receiving threats.

26.

Ravens

Darrius Heyward-Bey

WR

Maryland

Darrius Heyward-Bey
The Ravens could be a surprise forward mover on draft day. They supposedly like OT Andre Smith, but Baltimore seemingly has a more pressing need at wide receiver. Heyward-Bey is a blazer with good speed and could provide some explosiveness.

27.

Colts

Evander "Ziggy" Hood

DT

Missouri

Evander "Ziggy" Hood
Hood seems to be gaining favor with each visit to teams. He is a tireless worker who has a solid background and can add some beef and toughness to Indianapolis' interior defense. The Colts must buff up against the run, and Hood could help solidify the smallish defensive front.

28.

Eagles

Knowshon Moreno

RB

Georgia

Knowshon Moreno
Moreno could go much earlier, but the lack of need for first-round running backs could allow him to fall to the ideal situation for him and the Eagles. A tough slasher with a knack for the goal line, Moreno would be a perfect complement to Brian Westbrook.

29.

Giants

Chris "Beanie" Wells

RB

Ohio State

Chris "Beanie" Wells
The wide receiver help New York needs seems more likely to come via trade (Edwards, Boldin). If it requires this

since the free agent period started, it seems like every year there are great players who were originally drafted by the colts.
all of their early round picks were solid/pro bowlers.
they dont draft busts.

Ravens trade Ray Lewis to Colts in exchange for Marvin Harrison, and 3rd round draft pick.

Somehow I think the Colts would be solid picking up one or two of the Raven's free agent defensive players (Bart Scott, Ray Lewis, Jim Leonard)

Obviously you got the BA because it was a question asked by a Colts fan and you obviously share the same belief as him. Anyways, we both have the same amount of thumbs up and downs, therefore if I'm "a joke", then what are you? Oh and it is "you're", not "your". Your means "belonging to you" whereas "you're" means "you are."

Anyways, to make this a question, where do you think Marvin Harrison will go now that his agent has said that the Colts have agreed to release him?

(The Colts President and Owner)
A. How would you deal with the present salary cap issues?
The free agents as of this year: Jeff Saturday, Dominic Rhodes, Keiwann Ratliff, Matt Giordano, Kelvin Hayden (who was just given a new contract)
Which would you make a priority to keep?

B. Would you send Marvin Harrison packing?

I personally don't have complaints with the moves they've made or not made this season. Rhodes is unnecessary at this point, but may eventually be a valuable pickup, since they have Mike Hart and Chad Simpson behind Addai.
Kelvin Hayden is absolutely necessary. Tim Jennings is nowhere near skilled enough to start even the number of games he did last season let alone regularly.
While I love Jeff Saturday and respect the fact that he's among the best in the game, they were able to perform at about the same level offensively when he was injured as when he was playing. I wouldn't blow too much precious cap space here.
I wouldn't bother resigning Ratliff, he only started one game and, while he did have a pick, it was against Ryan Fitzpatrick.
I'd like Giordano to stay, because he along with Bullitt are fantastic during the many games that Bob Sanders is confined to the bench.

And while I love Marvin and think he had an incredible career, we can't afford him and frankly he isn't performing up to the Indy standard. I would cut him, as painful as it would be to do so.

What about you?

Will Donovan be back with the Eagles? yes i know he led them to the NFC championship game but he made the crucial mistakes on his part which if he didnt, the eagles could have won, if not tied the game...
Will Anquan Boldin be back with the Cards next year? i know it was just frustration and its the playoffs but in the interview when he was asked if he was coming back to Arizona next year, he said "next question"..
Darren Sproles had a great game against the Colts but horrible against the Steelers which means he can be very good against bad defenses but horrible against great defenses.. and also he showed his amazing speed in the Steelers game and apparently all runningbacks are good in San Diego just like how all quarterbacks in New England turn out to be good...
Will other big name players be back with their team next year such as Brian Dawkins, Ricky Williams, Kurt Warner, Brandon Jacobs, Derrick Ward, Zach Thomas, Julius Pepper, Terrell Suggs, Ray Lewis, Jonothan Vilma, etc....

I think a bunch of these defensive players might end up in Detroit since their defense is horrible and drafting Matt Stafford will make the offense dominant with Calvin Johnson and Kevin Smith who had 976 yards

Gary Oldman co-starred with Jean Reno, Natalie Portman, and Danny Aiello. He played a psychotic police agent. He used a huge nickle-plated gun. It had a short barrel, but it was still huge. I'm thinking it was a Smith & Wesson or a Colt .357 magnum.

Do they even have them,I know they used to.When my friend was on the force in the late 70's early 80's he said every officer he worked with had a Colt Agent 38 or a S&W Chiefs Special 38.Do they use these today or do they use small auto's like the Glock 26 or compact Springfield XD .

I just picked up Rhodes off the free agent pool. Looks like Addai won't play and the Colts play the Lions. Jones is home to Buffalo. Lynch is then @ New York Jets. And Bush is @ Chicago tonight.

I'm leaning toward Jones for sure. And then Rhodes. Just my gut. Because Bush doesn't get enough carries and Lynch got shut down by the Jets good rush defense last time they played. Opinions?

Is Steve Smith (CAR) , T.O. or any Big time receiver gonna be a free agent after this year? Just heard that M Harrison might retire for the Colts after this year and that frees up about 10 Million I think.

Now i need to get better wide recivers, Hines ward is sucking and holmes is getting no action. what wides can i get quickly so i can bench hines and maybe holmes?? They are facing the colts top 10 Pass defence so the steelers will rush alot against the colts top 10 worst Rush defences. Oh yea BTW....

I need a great/Okay WR QUICK!

I play fantasy on NFL.com and since when you offer a trade, they dont get notified and almost all people select "hide e-mail" they dont get contacted and it takes atleast like 5 days for them to finally see it, maybe like 2 weeks. So who could i get on the free agent list?

Not to say leftwhich isn't good, he just does not know hines ward as well as big ben. On top of that steelers will be running alot because the colts Rush Defence is last in NFL while there passing Defence is like in the top 10. So who could i get for him. But, i need to find someone from the free agent list maybe....cause i play fantasy on NFL.com and like no one notices i sent them a trade, so it takes like 2 weeks to get a trade but i need one before 11 AM tomorrow/
I know leftwhich isn't in but chances are he will be. and even if Ben roethlistberger is in, he will be far from 100% and he will also hand it off alot so i fear that both of my wides from steelers will suck this week.

I'm totally up against the wall this week for running backs. The only person I can start without reaching into free agents is Jonathan Stewart. He's banged up and has seen a huge dip in carries per game. They are playing a weak defense in Oakland but I still don't feel good about starting him.

Below is a list of running backs that are available in my league and the defenses they are playing. I'm in a two running back league and the other back I'm starting is Tim Hightower.

Mendwele Moore (Colts)
Derrick Ward (Eagles)
Fred Taylor (Lions)
Correll Buckhalter (Giants)
Leon Washington (Rams)
Maurice Morris (Dolphins)
Ricky Williams (haha I can't believe I just typed that name vs. Seahawks)
Justin Fargas (Panthers)

Thanks guys for any ideas regarding what I should do.

i have san diego who im dropping...
the free agents are
browns
patriots
dolphins
saints
cowboys
seahawks
jaguars
raiders
colts
bengals
rams
texans
broncos
chiefs
lions

I have the Titans but the r on bye, so i need to add a free agent defense. Who should I get?
Jaguars
Broncos
Colts
Jets
Dolphins
Redskins
49ers
Browns
Raiders
Bengals
Saints
Falcons
Chiefs
Lions
Rams
I got the skins just b cuz Rams arent very good.

QB Jay Cutler
RB Brian Westbrook
RB Earnest Graham
RB Julius Jones
WR Braylon Edwards
WR Hines Ward
TE Tony Scheffler
K Rob Bironas
D/ST Chargers

BE QB Jason Campbell
BE RB Lendale White
BE WR Hank Baskett
BE WR Javon Walker
BE TE Heath Miller
BE K Ryan Longwell
BE D/ST Chiefs

I like my starting lineup a lot. Just wondering if I should start Scheffler over Heath Miller. Also if I should start Ryan Longwell over Rob Bironas. Lastly, I can pick up some D/ST as free agents. Not sure if I should start Chargers, without Merriman they kind of suck. My options for free agent D/ST are the 49ers, Browns, Colts, Broncos, Steelers, Jets, Falcons, and Lions, and Redskins. So I am not sure if I should start any of these over the Chargers, I hope the Chargers pick it up this season, they were amazing for me last year.

Okay, Here's the deal, I have two teams in this league. Its a 10 team 14 player league. Both teams are doing horrible and I'm considering doing some add/drops or trades. However, in my league each add/drop is $2, each trade is $5, and your minimum rosters positions are your maximum roster positions. This means, I have to have 2 Kickers, and 2 Defenses and can only have 3 RB. I start all but one of everything.

I need three things:
Should I drop? If so who?
Who should I pick up?
Are there any trades you think I could get for the people I have?

Here are the teams:

Brett Favre
Jake Delhomme
Brian Westbrook
Duece McAllister
Earnest Graham
Andre Johnson
Chris Chambers
DJ Hackett
Tony Gonzalez
Alge Crumpler
Josh Brown
Robbie Gould
Jacksonville Jaguars
Detroit Lions

and

Carson Palmer
Derek Anderson
Ladian Tomlinson
Steven Jackson
Ricky Williams
Jerricho Cotchery
Hines Ward
Wes Welker
Dallas Clark
Antonio Gates
Kris Brown
Jason Hanson
Arizona Cardinals
Indianapolis Colts

Notable Free Agents:

QB: Jason Campbell, John Kitna, J.T. OaSullivan,

RB: Chris Perry, Ahmad Bradshaw, Julius Jones, Darren Sproles, Pierre Thomas

WR: Santana Moss, Dwayne Bowe, Anthony Gonzalez, Isaac Bruce, Joey Galloway, Justin Gage, Donald Driver, Amani Toomer,

TE: Anthony Fasano, Dante Rosario, Jeff King

Please explain why I should do what you are suggesting, I don't have a whole lot of pocket change at the moment and since this is pretty much a just for fun league, I'd rather not go overboard. I really do appreciate sources, and details not just Palmer sucks, you should pick up Kitna or something along those lines. You might think that way and it might be a smart pick but its my money and I want to make sure I'm spending it where it will help me.
Okay so current concensus is:

Drop Duece and or Ricky for either Pierre Thomas, Chris Perry, or Julius Jones

Drop Welker and or Hackett for either Donald Driver or Santana Moss

Keep my QBs (since no one has suggested anyone to drop)

And oddly, no input on Gonzalez, Galloway, Bowe, Toomer.

Anyone else agree, disagree, or have other suggestions? I still welcome answers.

so i have vikings d, who had a poor peformance monday night and play the colts on sunday, and i just picked up giants d. They play the rams who looked abismal week 1. Also, the cardinals d is a free agent, and they play the dolphins. My question: who should give me the most points this sunday?
also chiefs d is available vs. raiders and texans vs. baltimore

I made a crucial mistake for not starting Willie Parker in exchange for Marshawn Lynch or LT. But how was I to know he was going to get 31 points? I had to put LT in there was no question. Plus they said Moore and Mendenhall would get all of the red zone passes, which was a lie. And Turner (LT 's backup) got the highest amount of fantasy points in the leage) very ironic...yet was the deciding factor of my loss.

My first question is whether or not Willie Parker is going to bring this momentum against the Steelers, so I can put him in for lynch (who will be facing the jaguars).

My second question is defense should I keep
Minesota which scored 6 points in first week (now going against the dolphins in week 2)

or drop them for

Arizona which scored 18 points in the first week (going against the colts in week 2)

My final question is if I should still keep Roddy White, is Michael Jenkins the better WR pick or someone else like Devery Henderson or DeSean Jackson who are currently the best WR's left in my leages free agents.

I really appreciate all of your help.

Ok, I screwed up last week by not taking your guys advice, I lost by 7 points and I started Maroney over Mike Turner. I'm an idiot. Week 1 I lost brady, clark and marion barber to injury.

I have Favre as my backup, what should I do about brady's injury, is favre good enough or should I try to trade for a different qb?

my 8 team league team is now

qb-favre
rb- turner, larry johnson, maroney, marion barber, ray rice
wr- ocho cinco, cottchery, desean jackson, plaxico and dwayne bowe
te-dallas clark, dustin keller
k-rob bironas
d- colts and bears

am i screwed or what do I do?
Free agent qb's are Phillip Rivers and Matt Ryan

there are 3 great players that are free agents (i believe). takeo spikes, why won't anyone sign him? he's big, pretty fast and is strong. along with that, he smart and hits hard. i think he's be a great fit on the colts, especially because they are having injuries in their linebackers. Jeremiah trotter, why won't anyone sign him? he somewhat fast, strong, smart and plays the run really good. i think the lions could really use him. the last guy is shaun alexander. he seems to be on the decline, but i think he's could be a solid 2nd back. i thought new england would have been a great fit, but they don't need him thanks to the lamont jordan pickup. i can see him on the bills or lions as well. if these guys don't ask for an outrageous contract (maybe $2-$3 mil a year) i think they'd be great. they're in their 30's, but spikes and trotter can give probably up to 5 years more, shaun maybe 2-3. what do you think? why aren't these guys signed? if were to be signed, where?
blazers 09, good song choice, but weird. you won't let me down, if you don't desert my question, and that won't make me cry then, and so don't lie when you answer, or else you will hurt me.
elkgond1, where's you song? yeah, those rookie salaries are outrageous, but with the teams that i have selected, they can afford them. i think almost any team can afford to pay this decent salary.

sorry for the delay in amking part 4 but ive been busy with football practice and lifting weights for thoes of you dont know the rules they are as follows there is at least 1 rep from each respected nfl team plus a few free agents the most popular player advances and it is a ncaa march madness style tournament starting with the play in game but now heres the afc west bracket
#1 peyton manning(colts) vs #16 rosevelt colvin(texans)
#2L.T. (chargers) vs #15 keith bullock
#3 bob sanders(colts) vs #14 vince young (titans)
#4 chad johnson(bengals) vs #13 jevon kearse(titans)
#5 tony gonzalez(chiefs) vs #12 dante hall(raiders)
#6 champ bailey(broncos) vs #11 t.j. houshmanzada(bengals)
#7 shawn merriman(chargers) vs #10albert hanesworth (titans)
#8quintin jammer(chargers) vs #9mario williams(texans)
ty and i hope i spelled t.j.houshmanzada right
its the western half of the country with teams in the afc not the afc west
im not gana make the first round with 8 parts

Anybody have any info on him? The Colts straight up cut him following the famous Vander-Shank in the 2005 playoffs against the Colts. He then went to Dallas where Parcells cut him loose half way through a season in which he struggled for the most part. I've heard he's visited with a few teams but I haven't really heard anything following. I don't understand how a kicker who is still #1 statistically after missing 2 seasons is still a free agent.
2005 playoffs against the Steelers*

For years bad teams get worse because free agents will either go for money (where they dont perform, are priced out of range or dont fit the system) or try and get into the top tier teams which is natural but makes the best teams better.

Shouldnt the worst teams get first dibs on free agents? I know it depends on the salary cap as well. But isnt anyone tired as I am of seeing the Pats and Colts kicking ass every year because 10years ago they won the QB lottery? Im just as tired of seeing teams like the Lions stutter year after year.

Busts severely cripple teams both on the field, in cap space and team needs, and can cripple a team for years on end, even if you get the number 1 pick and hes a good player hes going to cost you 30million guaranteed.

Bad decisions also play into it and luck but high picks are making bad teams worse while top teams have less needs and just get better.
I am young so to me its feels like its the same thing year after year, Pats and Colts demolish the useless teams. Now personally I dont have any disdain for those perrenial teams its just kills the excitement for me.

I almost didnt watch the Superbowl because it looked like it was gonna be a blowout.

will he even be drafted or just a mere Free agent?

I currently carry a full sized Colt 1911 A-1 and want something a bit less cumbersome... Anyone have any shopping tips for me? My local gun shop has one for 1,100 bucks!! Waaay too much!

Thanks!

Suspend disbelief and imagine the year is 1908.

You are in charge of what is ostensibly a major archeological expedition to study the Silk Road. To all appearances, the Smithsonian Institute, the British Museum, and the Royal Geographic Society jointly finance your expedition. In actuality, you have a second and more important mission from the British Military Intelligence Service/

Your mission is to travel the Silk Road from Shanghai, China all the way to the Mediterranean Coast at Antioch, Turkey. Along the way, you are to determine the military and political situation among the Central Asian tribal states, access Russian goals in the area, and sound out possible allies against a possible Russian move against India. The expedition will last at least three years and possibly as long as five years. A thorough survey of military potential outweighs any need for speed.

Since your expedition is going to travel through wild and lawless areas, it is to be expected that it will be heavily armed, any problems with Chinese, Russian, and Turkish authorities have been smoothed away diplomatically.

Your expedition staff will consist of some fifty trained archeologist, artists, botanists, zoologists, geographers, cartographers, geologists, and clerical staff. In addition to the academic members, there will be some 200 European and Americans (some of whom will actually be members of the British and American Armies on detached service) who will act as a military force to protect the expedition against warlords, bandits, and treachery from Russian, Chinese and Turkish agents. There will also be a few hundred coolies laborers, muleskinners, grooms, camel drivers, cooks, servants, guides, porters, translators, and guards.

Your task in this question is to explain how you plan to arm your expedition. Be specific, if you mean a Webley Irish Constabulary Revolver, say so, donat just call it some ugly old British revolver. There are only three limitations. 1- the firearms and other weapons must be available in 1908, so no Magnum handguns or rifles, no modern assault rifles, and no M-1911 Colt Pistols. 2 - Military issue small arms should be avoided in order to provide deniability if there are spy charges made. 3 - The weapons must be light enough to be transported through some of the most rugged country in the world using only animal transport.

So fellow gun cranks, how will you equip your expedition?

Doc
Come on folks! You can do better than that! What about sidearms? Are you going to pack any machineguns or gatlings? Any artillery?

Remember you might have to fight off a couple of thousand screaming tribesmen.
We are thinking along similar lines Habanero!

FWIW, many companies operated with the use or machine guns, and even light artillery from time to time. One American coal company owner said in the 1930's "How the hell can you mine coal without machineguns?"
OK Sixtus, next time it will be an African adventure.
OK, here are my thoughts on the matter.

As WWD mentioned, I'd have a personal hunting battery consisting of a couple of best grade Holland and Holland double rifles in that new .470 Nitro Express cartridge that Holland brought our last year, and a Winchester M-1895 in 405 Win. I'd also want a coupld of Holland & Holland SXS 12 bores. For a side arm, I'd stick with the expedition's general issue weapon, a Colt New Service in .45 Long Colt.

The standard rifle for the European and American force will be a Winchester M-1895 chambered in .303 British. The expedition's native guards will be armed with Martini-Henry single-shot rifles. This might cause us a bit of a problem if we detour into India, but we'll take our chances.

For heavy weapons, we will bring ten Maxim Machine Guns also chambered for .303 British. Four of these machine guns will be kept in reserve just in case some break beyond repair. We will also carry a battery of five Krupp Model 1905 5 CM Mountain Guns.

Doc

Who have they picked up?
Who have they released?
Please leave answer in full detail
